Stringendo Magazine (October 2019)
... These interesting pieces make useful sight-reading for string players at 3rd to 4th grade AMEB level. Contrapuntal and mostly canonic, the keys are simple but the time signatures vary a great deal. No.22 includes many breves reminding one of the Barber Adagio. With no tempo markings or bowings, the student would gain much from working out bowings and fingerings. Deciding when to use third position to avoid unnecessary string crossings would also be expedient. (Mary Nemet)
