Choir & Organ (January-February 2019)
Iain Quinn provides a musicianly and pragmatic transcription of a piano work by Rachmaninov. His choice of original is prudent, and the piece feels at home in its new identity as an organ work (he finds resemblances to Dupre's op. 7 no.3, which informs his suggested registration scheme). Don't be lulled into a false sense of security by the opening two pages - it gets much trickier.
